Introduction
Due to criteria identified in the Cyber Essentials Certification relating to cloud based applications, Willmott Dixon and the Mi Project Team are implementing an additional layer of security when accessing Mi Suite applications.
This is in the form of Multi-factor Authentication (MFA).
From Monday 12th December 2022 you will be asked for a unique verification code for each new session within Mi Project.
It is possible to reduce the number of times that you be asked for this code if you select to trust the device you wont be asked again for the next 30 days.
Logging Into the Mi Suite and MFA
When logging into any of the Mi Suite applications, it will look the same as it previously did, however there will be an additional step now that requires you to input a verification code sent to your email address.
When logging in, make sure to input the email address and password that you normally input when signing into the Mi Suite applications:
One you click Login, you will then be presented with the new landing page which states that you need to input the code that was sent to your email address:
The email that is sent to you will look like the below:
All you need to do is copy and paste that code into the Additional Authentication Required field and press Submit. This will then log you into the Mi Suite.
How to Trust Computer for 30 Days
If you prefer to trust your device for 30 days, rather than inputting the code every time you log into the Mi Suite, all you need to do is tick the box below the Authentication Code field and this will trust your device for 30 days:
