Adding an Individual Manually in Mi Social
The individuals section allows the user to locate, create, and update individuals that can be referenced in Investment Entries. When setting up a new individual in Mi Social it is important you first access the ‘Individuals’ tab under the Mi Social icon, as seen highlighted below:
Upon clicking this you will be returned with the below page:
The ‘Add New’ button highlighted in red will allow you to begin setting up a new user.
Adding a New User
When creating an individual, they will be referenced in the context of Apprentices, Work Experience, or Employment Opportunities. Individuals can be marked as belonging to one or more of these categories:
It is important to note the mandatory fields are accompanied with an asterisk ( * ) and if these fields are not filled in before pressing save at the bottom, the page will not pass verification and will return an error.
Via the Mi Pre-Enrolment Sync
Individuals can either be added to the system manually, or automatically created by the Mi Pre-Enrolment sync which happens each day.
Each individual can be associated to one or more LCO’s – this will determine which Investment Entries they can be referenced in. For example, if an individual is associated to the Construction – Wales & West LCO, they can only be referenced in entries for projects belonging to that LCO.
